About Vineyards AI Lab

In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), we need AI to serve our community, and what's more important is to serve creatively. The core engine for creativity is research. In these dynamic and rapidly changing times, it is critical to integrate research principles into a fast-paced industry and high-quality education to mutually enhance each other.

To this end, Dr Ding and Dr Hou established the Vineyards AI Lab in April 2022 in Auckland, New Zealand. They have expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), information science, signal processing, etc., and have worked in these fields for more than 15 years. They are passionate about research. The Vineyards AI Lab is research-driven, aiming to enhance customer-centred AI solutions and education, benefiting and connecting with a wider and more creative audience.

We aim to develop state-of-the-art AI models through research to amplify the AI industry and education. Research is the core engine driving AI development.

We aim to provide AI solutions to companies as their professional on-demand AI and data teams, saving them the costs of building their own. These projects can also inspire young minds in education and further research into interesting topics.

We also aim to educate young people to fully utilize their creativity, utilizing AI technology to solve problems, explore new ideas, and delve deeper into subjects. This can inspire innovation, foster new businesses, and contribute to further research in related solutions.

The name "Vineyards" is inspired by the Bible. We are committed to using wisdom, kindness, and faithfulness to bring AI research and technology to our enterprises, serve our society, and ethically instil the seeds of AI technology in the hearts of young children.

"Vineyards" signifies the fruitful accomplishments and extensive connections of the lab. We aim to involve more people, especially the younger generation, in the AI industry with their creativity.
