Introduction:
Sometimes, the demand for doctors exceeds the available supply, putting them under strain and often causing delays in life-saving patient diagnostics. Recognizing the wide range of AI applications in our lives, can we introduce an AI system for automatic patient diagnosis? We envision a scenario where a computer or nurse records the patient's audio and text describing the situation, and an AI system can predict the disease diagnosis. We hope this will make diagnostics cheaper and more accessible. More details will be published on our blog, and the demo app is provided below.
Achievements:
The paper was finished and will be submitted.
A demo is delivered and you can get the recognition result from the app when you input the needed info, such as "patient's audio record, and an overview of the record". The example output is shown below (Note that the server side is located on Colab, the notebook might be down. Please let me know if you have an issue when you try. Thanks! Also listed in Projects).
The authors Joseph, Josephine, and Phoebe successfully presented the work on AI Teen Talk at East Coast Bays Library.
