About the innovation centre

AI Innovations shape the future, together with us!

Rangitoto&Vineyards AI Innovation Centre at Rangitoto College was created collaboratively by Rangitoto College and Vineyards AI Lab. It prioritises the involvement of young people in Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI primarily uses machine learning and deep learning for data analysis, prediction, forecasting, recognition, generation, etc. These technologies have diverse applications in healthcare, agriculture, economics, sociology, etc. 

At the centre, students are taught different skills designed for each individual by experts from academia and industry who hold PhDs in this field. Rangitoto&Vineyards AI Innovation Centre wishes to build a generation that creates and innovates rather than just using AI. This full-year project-making club can greatly benefit your future career paths.

Latest Activities

1. We will have an information evening for the AI innovation centre at Rangitoto Centre on 6 March (English), 7 March (Chinese), 2025, 7 pm - 8 pm. All are welcome to join the session.

2. We had a successful AI lecture last Saturday. We will have another free AI lecture this Saturday, 30 November from 10.00 am to 11.00 am at C15. 25-11-2024 😁🎉 

3. We will have a free AI introduction lecture on Saturday, November 23rd, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., open to all interested Rangitoto students and parents.  16-11-2024 🤯🙈

4. We will start a survey about New Zealand teenagers' knowledge of AI. AI Engagement Leader Akira leads the survey. Please go to this page for more details. 15-11-2024 💥🔥👾
